powergear leveling jacks

we are having a hard time finding what leveling control system will replace 500457 and touch pad 500456 the jacks would not lift up and we just thought we would replace the whole thing just not sure what do replace this. and where do you buy new powergear units and not used we have a 2000 fleetwood bounder does anyone have any ideas
thanks
  • Call the parts dept. at Fleetwood, they have helped me in past with parts and are cheaper than most other parts places. I have rebuild all four jacks(electric) with newer and better parts from them.

You may be about to change out a system when all that's wrong is a fuse or electrical problem. I'd do some troubleshooting (or have someone troubleshoot) before replacing expensive components. It sounds like the electric solenoid valves are not opening to allow the fluid back into the reservoir.

Here's what powergear says is the most likely problem with your jacks not lifting up. CONTROL 500456, 500645, 500647: REPLACE
‘DUMP VALVE’ FUSE ON CONTROL BOX

Power Gear has some good info on their web site, but you have to do a little digging to find it. Look at this document...it has a troubleshooting section near the end.
