It sounds like and adustment.. Now, slides come in 3 or 4 types
I have: Cable cars (Accu-Slide company) these show 4 cables, 2 on the foreward side of the slide 2 on the rearward side (Forward and rearward refer to direction of travel when on the road) when extended (There are matching cables when retracted too but usually you can not see them)
Adustment of the bolts on the motor end of the cabes will fix.
I also have a rack & Pinion (power gear) slide.
And there are Hydrauoic (HWH for example) slides.
Theory has it you could use an electric worm gear but I've never seen one
With the excpetion of the cable car they all have adjustment bolts and it may be the outer edge of the slide is adjusted too high.. A dealer or service technician (mobile or shop) can improve this situtation for you.. So can I but, this goes beyond what I'd feel comfortable doing to someone else's RV.
