Second one quoted the 12 yr rule and no way is it safe - RV shop
I argue with the safe - totally over reacting on their part - but the bottom line is I'm not getting any propane until the tank is re-certified. As rusty as it is (and it's totally covered in surface rust) I could spend hours sanding and repainting the tank only to have some small pinhole get discovered or I could just bend over and take it. If this were a winter project it would be easy, but my next trip is in 5 days.
