Hello all. I just got my rig set up in an rv park for the winter in Texas. It was a very difficult park and lots of leveling. Not a fun set up. Now iv discovered there is NO propane service to the park. ****! What can I do? Is there a way to hook up a portable bottle to the fill valve on my rig to supply propane. Any help?? I can move my rig every time I need propane?? Thank you, Lee

You can also hook up outside stoves and lanterns etc. Easy install but you need to make sure there are no leaks which is easy to check with some soapy water.

Install a propane 'TEE' between your propane tank Service/Vapor Valve and the LP Regulator.Then you can attach a 20#, 30#, 100# propane cylinder to the hose/Tee.Close MH Service/Vapor Valve...open propane cylinder valve and feed your MH Propane System via the portable propane cylinderWhich can then be taken and refilled as neededCamco Propane TEE and Hoses

Search for propane suppliers in your area.NOT campgrounds but "real" propane dealers.They can sent out a truck to fill your built-in tank.......but ask the cost first. That will be an easier option but not as versatile and maybe a tad more expensive. But maybe not; don't know until you ask.

The use of a "Tee" works very good. It will save you a trip a week to a propane depot with your motorhome. Once installed, leave it in there, we did that for about 12 years on 2 different coaches, carried our own 30lb cylinder with us and just filled it as needed, never had to fill the on-board tank till spring when we left. Most rv dealers will have the Tee and line in there parts store or available on line also. Good luck, Happy Trails bert

Depends on how long you plan on staying in the park. If more than 30 days, call the local propane company. They can bring out one of their larger bottles and install it next to your rig for you. There are lots of regulations relative to refilling the propane bottles and tanks in the motorhome/trailers. Those same regulations don't apply to permanent or semipermanent installations. Use of the 20# bottles will get old fast. Opt for the larger installed ones. Just my two cents...Dennis
