His system the solenoid is on the HI pressure side. Once it goes thru the solenoid the LP then goes into the LP regulator. Doug
Interesting. I wonder who else made a LP detector in 2004 that controlled a solenoid beside CCI? CCI clearly states in their installation instructions to mount the solenoid down stream from the pressure regulator Also, noted on the solenoid is 0.4 PSI max. Could it be that Monaco installed it wrong? As we both know, Monaco did use CCI detectors in that era.

As a Dealer tech for a dealer who sold Monaco from 1998 till they went under in 2008, that solenoid system was used when they installed the ASME tank under and in the middle of the chassis frame. They had a remote fill tube and then that 12 volt solenoid that shut the tank OFF BEFORE the LP regulator. You are talking about the LOW PRESSURE CCI type systems that the LP detector, IF it sensed LP would shut off the solenoid at the tank. I am not aware of that many Monaco DIESEL's that used the CCI type system. The Monaco Gas rigs used the CCI sometimes. There was NO detector used. You opened the outside compartment door in front of the pass rear wheels and there was the remote fill and a red light and an ON/OFF toggle switch that turned the solenoid on and off. Red light ON and the solenoid was on. Doug
