Propane tap on curb side

Ah thanks. Ace by us is a huge Weber dealer. I'll check it out.

About the hose, I bought a no-name hose and it did not work so I went to Lowes and bought a Weber brand and it worked just FYI

I am assuming that your tap is after the regulator just like mine and I run my Weber with its regulator on no removing it or modifications and work very well.

As I understand things the RV regulator runs at 11 inches of wc and some BBQ regulators will run at a less pressure at 5.5 inches of wc.

Try it first and see.

You can simply install an Extend-a-stay. Its fitting that installs between the tank shut off and regulator. The kit comes with a 12 hose that you connect between the extend-a stay valve and the Q. Its as simple as screwing the bottle on the Q. Been using one for years and it works perfectly. No mods to the Q at all so it can still be used away from the coach.

I ran mine straight from the curbside valve to the grill and the regulator. Weber works great. So it's has 2 regulators? Once you go from high pressure (tank) to low presume (regulated) the low side should be consistent no mater how many regulators are in line.

Ah, super good idea! Do you have pics? I see RWBradley's below and it looks simple enough, but curious what you regulator now looks like with your mod.

As mentioned it is quite easy to mod a Weber. I did a write up on how to do it...

Now this is a good idea. Going to a portable tank and still using the regulator. :) Grade A advice.
