Pros/Cons to Active Duty Military RV life

I am an active duty sailor and trying to understand the process of RV park living. I am now looking for pros and cons to move into an RV lifestyle while i am still in the navy having the hectic sea life schedule during work ups. Leaving for 2-3 weeks at a time and dealing with storage for deployments.

Please give specifics....of the good and bad things that you have dealt with; your lessons learned.

    It has been many years since I was retired from the military. However, you should check to see if your base has a FAMCAMP. The FAMCAMP operator will let you know what is available for you for camp spaces and storage. I know when I deployed, my unit had a free locked, fenced in storage area for my car. So ask your supervisor about storing your RV. Thanks for serving.
