Sorry chevman, I’m a Fordman lol. So yes, it’s an F53 Ford chassis with the V10, and torqueshift trans.
Having said that, I’m not a “brand hater” at all, and love all my GM, RAM, diesel pusher brothers, and sisters and wish everyone all the best with your choices. I’m the guy in the campground that likes to start up a conversation with “nice rig”, and go from there discussing rv’s, trucks, whatever. Probably because for the most part that’s the example I was presented with starting out. True story; Our very first trip some 30 years ago with our pop-up tent trailer, we were put in a spot right next to a huge to us diesel pusher. They turned out to be the nicest, helpful, and generous older couple. As you can tell, we still remember them, and they made a big, and positive impact on us. Fast forward 30 years, and I’m now 59. We try to be just like them.
