I have to say that your discription confuses me. Most RVs come with a I/O box between the the various inputs, ie, cable, antenna, DVD/VCR and the TV. There are several inputs and only one output per TV. There are several buttons on the face of the I/O box to select what input is connected to what TV. If this is what youare calling a cable box in the coach then it is simple to hook up, if you have a cable box (DVR usually)in the coach and somehow connected to the cable box in your house I don't know what you need to do. We have two TVs in our rig, both flat panels, one requires that you select the type of input you have the other selects whatever is active. In our case the front TV never has to be changed because it is always connected to the I/O box and the DVD is internal and the rear TV automatically selects either the coax input or the separate DVD player. No cable boxes required.
