Why would a Comcast Cable TV agent know how your RV is wired?
Once you leave the RV pad you are disconnected from their service.
Many Motor Homes have a Video Selector Box that allow you to switch from a Cable TV source to another source like Antenna, DVD Player, Satellite Antenna, etc. This is especially true if a flat screen tv is not being used.
Selecting the DVD button on the Selector Box for the TV in question would switch the source of signal for that TV.
If no video selector box is installed and the DVD player is not already installed, you will need to connect the output cable from the DVD player to the input for the TV.
If you have multiple inputs to the TV already wired and no selector box in the motorhome, then you will need to use the menu function of your TV to select the signal source used for the DVD player on the TV.
Or, if you are just going to plug the wires from your portable DVD player into the front video and sound ports of your TV, you will again need to select the appropriate signal source using the Menu or Setup function on your TV.
Perhaps if you could describe how you will be connecting the DVD player to your TV and what kind of TV you are using, more help could be provided.
