I commend you for not wanting to get rid of your dogs! I like dogs more then most people! They teach you how to live in the moment and unconditional love something most people don't have a clue! And putting them in a crate even though it sounds easy to say is very stressful on some dogs like are 4 month old standard poodle the crate is not working for us. Were still trying to figure out what works best? Were going to try a doggie daycare next? As far as the floor is concerned I would have a pro floor guy come out and take a look! Most give free estimates and good advice. Sorry to hear about your doggie damage and good luck!
