I do not agree.
I went up one load range and with a slightly wider tire (with adequate dual spacing), and was able to reduce my front tire pressure (after weighting all 4 corners and checking the load/pressure chart) from 110 psi to 90 psi. The lower tire pressure sure makes the coach ride better.

If the current tires are running right near max then I agree. Many are running max pressure when they shouldn't be though and that is where the gain comes in. Proper tire for load aired to the correct pressure will give best ride and handling.
