I recently purchased a 2000 Hurricane with 15,000 miles and the original tires. I carefully drove the motorhome the 80 miles necessary to get it home and then drove it 5 miles further and had 6 new Michelin XZE tires installed.
Tread depth on original tires was great, but weather cracks were appearing all over the tires. I still have the original spare though. I do have a brand new tire waiting to mount for the spare.
