huck.I admire your perseverence. But buying a Pleasureway was really a good choice, not to exclude the others but they are well constructed of quality wood furnishings and fittings. I test drove a nearly new 2010 Pleasureway Excel TS on a very windy, rainy day. It boogied all over the road and I was a little concerned, once having driven a stock car!! The inside was messy with crookedly adusted doors. After years of checking Excels I finally bought a Pleasureway Plateau TS with Mercedes chassis ie diesel engine and 5 speed txn. More money but handles like a dream. MB has provided a solid, well sorted out chassis. PW cabinetry is excellent. I get around 30 mpg on Canadian gallon regularly.
Best wishes and happy rving.,
