Your mention of firewood reminded me....be careful driving through the desert and don't drive through spots where there have been campfires. Many folks pick up lots of pallets from places and use that as their firewood. Unfortunately, very few remove the nails. Therefore there are many nails laying in those firepits.
Other than that, everything is readily available. We've gone there many times and always enjoy hanging out with a big group of friends.
