In that case, ask your wife to try driving your current RV and then take her to test drive a class C in the size you are thinking of getting. She may find that the A isn't more difficult to drive (many many many many older women drive school buses - a class A isn't going to be much different).
She can do a simple test drive in an empty parking lot - that way she doesn't have to worry about other drivers, etc., she can just focus on how it feels to drive the RVs.
