question on 2000 fleetwood southwind 35a or 32v

would like some feed back if possible. i'm new to rving and about to buy a 2000 fleetwood southwind 32v they also called it a 35a instead of 32v. it has 98,000 miles and appears to be in good condition. the sale price is 17,000.00. motor looks good, outside shows some wear and tear.. inside looks good and clean.. everything appears to work... is 17,000 a reasonable price? thanks, jim
  • As you are new to RVing I would say pass on the RV.
    A) High miles to me.
    B) While it appears to work you do not say you have seen everything work. There are a lot of expensive to replace items in a motor home. Refrigerator can run over $1200.00 to replace. Generator can be expensive to repair or replace. Does the hot water heater work? What about furnace and A/C both dash and coach. Water system check out and holding tanks hold waste.

How old are the tires? If over 5 years old I would replace them as you do not know their history. Count on spending at least $1500.00 for 6 tires.

You do not have enough information in order to make a intelligent decision

If all systems work then it may be a fair price
