Totally agree with part of your statement, John.
PPL has consignment coaches-- with a wide range of how they were cared for. The salespeople, for the most part, have very little history/records on these coaches. I have seen (and inspected) some real dogs there and some gems.
Suspect you will find exactly the same range of conditions were you to go to any RV park or RV storage lot in the country.
The good news is that they have a huge selection and turn over a lot of coaches. Find one that is a gem, not a dog.
No, PPL does not recondition coaches before they are put on the lot. Actually, that may be a GOOD thing, as you can really see how the owner treated them.
