I would check to make sure the pressure cap is working OK. Also check the over flow line to make sure it is open connected properly and the overflow container doesn't have leaks. You didn't say exactly where the leak was at. Usually when a vehicle is shut off the temp rises and fluid goes into the overflow. If it can't it will run out on the ground.
