Be thankful you don't live in Canada. The rad went on my 02 Dutch Star (Freightliner chassis) and they wanted $3300 just for the rad - installation extra. I found a specialty rad shop that could do the work but there were some issues. The rad could not be recored because it had plastic sides so a new one was required. Turns out the rad is from a Volvo truck. The new one has 4 cores while the old one only had 3 so the rad is essentially 25% larger - cost $1800. That was the easy part. Labor for a side rad is 10 - 13 hours. Total cost was $3500 out the door. If I could have made it back to the States without any worries I would have done the repair there - the cost for parts in Canada is sometimes double that of the US and tax in Canada (13%) is for the whole bill (including labor) - I know that Arizona doesn't charge tax on labor.
