I am not new to electricity it is how I made my living before I retired. My questions were more towards amp draw on an inverter when running and very little load (CPAP).
I was just being lazy asking the question I do have a clamp on amp meter so I guess I can check that. Before doing a bunch of trouble shooting for a problem that might not exist I thought I would get opinions of people with similar units saying what happened was normal or no it isn't normal.
I was just really surprised that it ran down so fast I would have expected it to last all night.
The TV I was running was a 24" LED TV I just installed a week ago I changed all the original TV's out. I also had a new blue ray player running.
My 5th wheel toy hauler would easily go all night with my CPAP on 12 volts it did not have an inverter we also ran heat all night but it was a smaller unit and usually not as cold but it only had 2 6 volt golf cart batteries.
I just went out and check the electrolyte level and it was low on all batteries every cell. I can see why the previous owners had not checked them the battery cables interfered with the cap and the 2 center batteries I had to remove cables to access the cell caps. I have filled each with distilled water and will now charge it to test. I plan to get a voltage test before and after charging.
I am not sure how all the systems work on this coach yet it is new to me and different than my past RV's.
Thanks for the helpful advise I do not have a battery load tester that would be nice but I can add the load of the unit and check load and voltage on each battery.
