At 3 AM I woke up to an alarm beeping. I checked the battery voltage and it was down to around 9 volts. I had to start the coach and let it run for a couple minutes to start the generator. I let the generator run until about 6 AM.
The very first thing that jumps out at me is ‘we drove around 2 hours to our destination .....’
What 2 hours?
Did they leave at 9am and arrive at 11am then have ‘the heater coming on and off very frequently’ for 12 hours before going to bed?
If so they could've been running that power hog furnace for 15 hours by 3am.
All of that doesn’t even get into thermostat settings yet either, there’s a BIG difference in in power demand between trying to heat a coach to 75 degrees versus 65 degrees.
