I have 3 zone system as well. Zone 1 and 3 operate off of shore power and zone 2 operates off my generator. I don't know if it can be changed, never tried as 2 units cool my coach just fine. My generator will operate all ac zones if required. 2007 Gulfstream Tourmaster
