Today diesel went from $3.59 to $3.95 in one day. The projected winter blast, demand for home heating fuel, and winter blend prices didn't help any. Gasoline went from $2.64 to $2.99 also, but those price fluctuations for gas is normal. It'll be back down later in the week. Diesel won't.
