F53 Fuel filter removal tool won't fit?

I borrowed a huge kit from Canadian Tire and tried several styles, including those you posted and the metal plyer style ones. None came close. I was able to share a picture in a Facebook f53 group and the consensus is that it currently has the wrong filter installed and will likely need to be hack sawed off then removed with needle nose pliers and the disconnect tool.
