I would think if you did it yourself and bought all new quality parts (instead of turning the rotors), the parts along would run about $1000. If you have them do it and they flush the lines and put new fluid in, it will be a whole new braking system. 10 hours to change the master cylinder and power booster seems excessive but overall I would estimate the total project to take a good 10 hours. I've done autos without the master cylinder in 4-6 hours. But hey, it is a big truck and old enough that things don't go as quick as you plan.
