Bed is fixed position Queen size. The bump outs on sides are head/foot room. Would sleep 2 but someone will have to crawl over to get out of bed. Takes a step to get up into the bed, but it's very comfy (replaced the mattress!). Main beauty is the storage underneath that's accessible from the back.
