Sounds to me like you may have a pinched wire in your harness. We had a similar situation on our trip to Fla this year. DH noticed that our dash light wasn't lighting when the coach braked. We stopped and checked, sure enough no braking going on in the toad. We were pretty sure the coach and the Jeep were not the problem. Checked the wiring connection and sure enough, found a pinch in the wire from where the Roadmaster folded up and had pinched it previously. We bought another wire harness at the Camping World we stopped at and used that in place of the original. We were good to go! Give yours a very close inspection.
