The reason I ask is that I was told by Sourse Eng. I could use 4 total instead of 8.
Although my setup is four bags, it seems very logical to use only four control units, ie one per corner. The reason, I think, would be that each corner functions as a system of two air bags normally and all the control units do is dampen the flow so that sudden changes in air bag movement are also dampened as a system of two air bags. Another way of thinking of it is the fact that the setup now is done via a Y in the line rather than individual lines indicates to me that the system is designed to act in unison.
