Indeed, I have a background as a mechanic (not diesel however), so I know my way around with a wrench (and when needed a hammer) ;)
I get the sentiment about inheriting others problems with a used coach (especially almost 20 years old). Other side of that coin is - a lot of the issues new coaches have will hopefully be fixed by the prior owner. Also for us personally, no way we could afford a new DP currently.
