Obviously you did not read my post.
This is a 2013 unit from a well known manufacturer. The tape was factory installed just as you see it and came up at some point during the first year of ownership. The dirt was acquired after the tape came up. Owner did not discover it until a water leak presented itself.
I didn't have to look too hard to find this photo since I took it myself just this morning.
Point here being that Eternabond is not a permanent solution for sealing areas that should receive regular maintenance.
