A couple of months should not create any problems but add it it if you feel more comfortable. If the unit is going to sit all season add the Sta-bil per instructions on the bottle to the last tank of fuel then run long enough to get the treated gas through the engine. It will not cause the engine any harm and could certainly save you some grief.
