When you remove the pan and filter doing your fluid change, make sure you get the old filter o-ring out of the bottom of the pump. It never stays on the filter when you remove it. If the fluid was previously changed and the last person forgot to remove the old o-ring and jammed the new filter against it, the trans will have the symptoms you describe. Hope I made sense....

Oh and you have the 4R100 transmission....
Do you know if there is any kind of diagram or a how to replace trans filter? and thanks for the info.
