rear jacks won't retract

Question

I have a 2008 Damon Challenger with lippert jacks. The rear jacks won't retract in either auto or manual mode using the panel or manually by opening valves and using a drill as described in the manual. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have Power Gear, not Lippert. If it has a piston that is pushed down and springs to retract, sometimes lubricating the extended piston liberally with silicon spray will release the jack to retract.
