The springs a not broken, that I can tell that. I have worked on Trucks (18 wheelers) and I have seen both arched and flat springs. Most have an arch to them. But they do not use air bags or rubber blocks on the ones I have worked on 40 years ago. That is why I am asking, do the springs on a 1989 Chevy P-30/32 have a arch to them? What are the best way to go, Air Bag that gives 5000 lbs lift or rubber block (Timbren) that give 7000 lbs lift? I am hoping someone have real unbiased opinion on the two different types a lift accessed.
