Refridgerator and water heater will not come on.

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 32W. Last week I went out to set it up and get it going. (All was fine 2 weeks prior) I noticed that the refrigerator did not power on when I hit the button. I checked to see if the power switch was on, and it was. Additionally, I noticed the light inside did not come on either. I went ahead and tried to fire the water heater on gas, I tried twice and simply went to Eletric and went on my way, never doubting that the water was heating. The next day I went back out, checked both the AC, and the DC power inside the panel outside the vehicle, both were good. I checked the fuses, both were good. I also cycled the breaker, the power disconnects, checked all the fuses (that I can find), insured that the batteries were charged and that its fuses were good. ---I went to rinse my hands inside, and no hot water. So I am at a loss.
I figure that the issue is a common power source, and likely on the 12v/DC side, otherwise I have no Idea were to start. Has anyone had this experience before? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. So far this month I have had to turn away 2 buyers, and a potential renter due to these issues. Thanks in advance.

  • To provide some clarity, I have bot AC and DC in at the appropriate place. For example-the 110 plug is hot. just not at the switch on the eyebrow above the fridge. I have 8.5 v to the on/off toggle, but non to the circuit board switch.
  • It is a Dometic 2-way. I have 12-v to the outside bottom of the fridge. and to both of the fuses. on the circuit boards. Are there more fuses elsewhere by the fridge.
Even though I seemed to have sufficient propane, I swapped the tank out anyway. There was not change to the situation. I've even considered switching to 50 AMP even though see no real reason to do so.
I got some information yesterday that suggests that I need to test the solenoid for that side of the dc distribution, I plan to do that today.

Thank you all, and its still not fixed, so if you have any other insight, please share.
  • What BRAND/MODEL are the fridge and water heater?

12V DC is required for fridge controls/functions
12V DC is required for water heater IF---IF it is an Atwood (Suburban electric side doesn't use DC....unless it is a DEL model

SO BRAND/MODEL info really helps narrow choices down

No DC to fridge and no water heater.........could be Main DC FUSE is bad/bad connection....need to locate and ID Main DC Fuse(s)
House DC Dist Panel ----bedroom/bathroom ?????
MH Mfgs like to place them here/there and make it a scavenger hunt.
