Refrigerator tubing
Good morning to all. Does anyone know how to disconnect the tubing in the back of the refrigerator. The tubing going to my ice maker has cracked and is spraying water everywhere. Thanks

Obviously depends on the model of the fridge you're talking about. On the Notsocold 1200LRIM you can access the line from the outside vent cover at the solenoid. I had a shut off valve there for mine. It was that line that caused me to dump the fridge for a residential. The 1/4" line snakes it way to the top of the fridge where it is pressed into the tray that feeds the cube tray. Silicone is used to keep that line in place which on the third failure, I dumped the fridge. To access that line, the fridge must be pulled almost out unless you're really small or have 15' arms.
