Refrigerator Vent Fan

That's the same as the one I'm using out side I just zip tied it at the out side bottom blowing up.I also have a small one just like it on the inside. Inside refrigerator temp. 34 degrees.

Nice....but, IMO, not as good, (energy wise), as a 12VDC fan, (or fans), when driving and/or boondocking.

I took a piece of shelving unit and made a mount to attach two 30 CFM squirrel cage fans to the outside grill of the refer. This was three years ago. I lowered the numbers on the refer two numbers and has worked well for three years. Only problem I have had was the recall went off coming out of Yuma AZ. Learned that if I hold a strong magnet to the upper right corner of the recall it will reset itself. If it were to keep going off I would have a problem but if it resets you should be good to go.

Interesting. If you search on the different forums you will find lots of threads about the Norcold. What model is it?

I've been considering adding fan as well. With the roof vent mounting, how do you find a 12v line to feed it? We have a Norcold and I've been led to believe that there are no 12v leads on the back; nothing I can find in manual or circuit on back of fridge give any indication. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!

I see it in the slide show pics.

I pulled the roof vent off of mine today to measure the opening. The way its designed, I'm surprised any air gets through there. Of course it has to keep water out. I wanted to use 2 computer case blower fans but I'm not sure they will work.

I only have two on mine but they are on whenever
The reefer is on.
I do have 540w of solar.
