Being progressive snowbirds we went from a small class c (Toyota Sunrader) to a 5th wheel. The extra room was nice, not crawling over each other etc.. but missed the simplicity of setting up. Especially in bad weather. Being cold and wet setting up and then have to warm up the rig before we could be comfortable. We passed a class A on our way to Sunday dinner at my parents and decided to look just for the heck of it. It was in excellent shape, good layout with the bells and whistles we like. Short story, not really looking to replace the 5th whl, make a ridiculous offer. A couple of days later received a call back and we bought it. Best decision ever, good price, lots of room and a joy to drive. No regrets at all, easier to drive then truck and trailer, instant set up, auto leveling, don't even have to go outside in bad weather to set up, we can wait for the rain to stop or the sun to rise in warm comfort. We still have the 5th wheel parked on the farm and being used as a luxury guest suite when company comes to visit in the summer.
