Remorse?
Thinking of jumping from a 5er to a DP for the convenience as we get a bit older. We aren't retired, but like to pull toys like a boat and jeep and up until now its always been multiple tow vehicles....

We are a family with young kids and sold my TT and traded my f250 for the truck. I was very nervous doing it...seemed like a ton of money even though the new class a gas was about the same price as new trailer and truck. I know I will lose money, but I figure that's my vacation money basically. Also, our kids are only young once and we are too, so lucky for us we can afford it now.
Compared to a trailer the 37 foot gas I have rides and drives great! The trip is now part of the fun..this is much better than pulling a trailer.
