I kinda have this in reverse. Started in tent, went to popup, folding TT, 5th wheel/F350, class A gas burner. Now I'm back into an F150 and 30' TT. The trailer is the newest and nicest I've had. The class A was a '99 Holiday Rambler with Ford V10. It was not enough engine for a 36' MH. Horrible ride, squirrelly even without wind, and at 16 years old started breaking everything. Got tired of driving my toad (or turd) to work every day. So I got the truck and traded the MH in on a TT. Love staying in the TT. At 30' it has as much usable space as the 36' MH. But backing and set up are much easier in the MH. I'm going to retire in 3 to 5 years and hopefully will be back in a MH, hopefully DP. In other words there is buyers remorse in either direction. Wish I had bought another MH. But I hated seeing all that investment sitting around for 85% of it life. Now tell me I don't need an F150 Supercrew to drive to work every day.
