Remorse?
Thinking of jumping from a 5er to a DP for the convenience as we get a bit older. We aren't retired, but like to pull toys like a boat and jeep and up until now its always been multiple tow vehicles....

Do you have to have the truck for work? If so keep the set up you have till you don't need it anymore.
Wife and I had a large truck and 5th wheel love it but I did not need the large pickup. I put a lot of miles on the truck each year going back en forth to my jobs when a small car would have done the same thing cheaper. We made the switch. We have just gone out and bought another RV, my thoughts are getting it now (wife still working) but it will be paid off early in our retirement.
One nice thing is on a trip we stopped at a casino overnight parking lot it was raining heavy. We pulled in pushed a button for jacks, three more for the slides. The area was full of RV's all running generators. Spent the night left in the morning. Never stepping out in the rain.
