Even though this is likely a pipe dream, I do wish Honda would get back into the built in genset market with an inverter model that has a battery "boost" so it can handle inrush current until the engine gets up to speed even on Eco-Throttle mode. The variable RPMs would save gasoline and cut down on noise, while an inverter would produce as clean a power output we will see this side of a Victron.
Heck, I'll just take an open-framed generator but running at 1800 RPM and four poles like Onan's earlier models.
