Thanks for your thoughts....I have unscrewed the remote panel and took a look with nothing obvious... Everything looks clean and tight with no scortched marks. My next logical step, barring information to the contrary would be to do as you say. Guess I'll be calling my brother who is much more knowledgeable than me.....THanks for your thoughts.
