Removing bird poop stains

The MH was sitting in storage for about a month. During that time I got quite a bit of bird poop. The surface stuff came off easily, but left a light stain underneath. What can I safely use to remove those stains ?

Thanks for your help.
  • Try a fine(first choice) or medium clay bar that is available at most auto parts stores. After you have removed the stains, you will need to apply a coat of wax to the surface. The clay bars need to be used with a soapy water and will not harm a clear coat finish.
  • I used a 3M kitchen scrubber on my roof this past weekend. Rinsed with clear high pressure water, then scrubbed with the 3M scrubber dipped in RV Wash mixture. None of the stains took more than 10 seconds of scrubbing to make them disappear.
  • Thanks so much for the advice. I tried the clay bar, it did not make any difference.

I looked through my cabinet of car treatments and found a container of Meguiar's Correcting Compound. A little light to medium rubbing with a terry cloth and removal of the residue with a microfiber towel and all of the staining was gone. Not only did it remove the stains, but also left the surface shiny.
