If you like it keep it. Some mods such as flooring are great diy. The labor is what drives the cost in these types of projects not material. Anything you have done will be spendy vs diy. Take a hard look at what you are willing to do or learn to do. If you rig doesn't have slides I would consider moving on.

There are a few shorter DPs out there. Ours, a 2002 Itasca Horizon is 32 feet and very maneuverable. I can be parked facing a wall, 10 feet from it, and drive away without having to reverse.
I think they made them for quite a few years. We bought ours with 27,500 miles on it in 2008. Needed new tires and batteries immediately and are now on our second set of both. We ripped out the carpet (actually paid a couple of neighbourhood kids to do that--it's hard work) paid a pro to lay the Drop and Done vinyl plank flooring. Replaced the TV and all the AV stuff, had dinette and sofa recovered in Mexico. Need to reupholster again thanks to the dogs!
We have also added 420 Watts of solar and a Xantrex Prosine 2.0 inverter/charger.
It now has 101,000 miles and is still going strong and looking pretty good. Still has the original fridge and microwave, furnace etc. Don't know how long that will last! The heatpump died in Mexico a couple of years ago, we replaced it and that failed, a week before the warranty ran out!
If you can't do any of the labour intensive stuff yourself you might be better off to look for a nice replacement.
I know though, it's hard to get rid of a rig you really like.
