Before I made a decision to remodel this coach I would spend a few hundred dollars to have a competent inspector look over the ENTIRE coach and give his opinion of the overall coach condition/value.
You live in the north where there is a possibility that many items MAY need replacement that you have not considered, such as a new radiator and under body items due to rust and corrosion. There may also be suspension items that are due for replacement, which can cost thousands.
Basically before you would spend the money to do a complete APPEARANCE upgrade, you want to make sure that the rest of the coach is in good enough shape to justify your investment. There would be nothing worse than to have a beautiful coach inside and outside but has so many underlying problems that you can not depend on it for a safe trip.
