Repair Basement Door on Class A
2001 Damon UltraSport compartment door needs fixing. The filler material, whatever it is, is rotted out and will not hold screws for gas spring hinges. Can I replace that material and how?

- Just epoxy and pop rivet a 6" x 6" x 1/4" aluminum piece in place. Then attach the hinges to the plate. Much easier than taking the door apart.
