Replace broken latch on luggage (outside) cabinet

I broke one of the plastic "fingers" on the door latch on the outside basement cabinet door on my 2005 Fleetwood Bounder Model 35E. I took off the handle, released the rod that attaches to the latch, ...

You mean the latch that is in the door frame? It will pry out. I used two thin blade screw drivers and pried evenly. There is a company that makes steel versions that won't break. I put those on the doors that I use a lot. The plastic ones on the others. My Fleetwood is an 05 and they start breaking.
