Jsejmz09/Gregory,
Please, don't let a couple of stubborn, set-in-their-way people drive you away from this forum. As with any public forum, you have to learn to ignore, weed out some posts, and enjoy the forum for the other good, helpful you get from open minded people that truly want to help, and learn.
Any time I post a topic of ANY nature on here, I fully expect to get several that will find some way to belittle what I'm asking or talking about, insult, etc. I just (try to) ignore those posts and do not respond to them. Thats all you can do. Instead, I focus my responses, posts on those that are truly wanting to help, or want to learn from what I'm doing. Its what you have to do with any public discussion forum. Most expecially with Class A RV folks, you're going to get a lot of 'senior' RV owners, and reality is, the older we get, the more 'set in our ways' we get.
I think you'll find also, that people can be much more abrasive, and just plain 'mean' on an internet forum than they are in real life. I bet if you met most of these people in person at a campground....The conversation with them would be entirely different, and much more peaceful (over a few cold ones, haha). :)
For the sake of the folks like me, and others on here that expressed interest, and respect in what you're doing....Stick around, man. If you want to unsubscribe from this particular thread, maybe even ask the moderators to lock it, OK, that may be a good idea. But, stick around, you're going to find there are a lot of really nice people on here that can be really helpful (and entertaining, haha).
Personally, I have a lot of respect for what you're doing, trying to find a way to make it work, without having to spend several thousand on a new Onan. I personally have never had any trouble out of my Onan and am totally happy with it, after 6 years and several hundred hours of rock solid, reliable use. But, I still think its cool that you are finding a way to make it work without having to spend big $$ on a new Onan. Please keep us posted on this project, even if you have to start a new thread to do it. :)
